The theme of this kit is about Friendship and Daydreams, the result of new and old friendships made here at DD where we all love to Dream! I made it to week 2!! Whoo hoo!! This week’s challenge was to create a kit for “over 25″ – meaning a more adult themed – OR – an all about me kit. I have wanted to create a GNO (girls night out) kit for awhile and figured now was a good a time as any. This mini will eventually be converted into a full kit, but I do hope you enjoy it! The mini contains 6 papers and over 15 fun elements. This kit is perfect for a girls night out, but I also can be used for any occassion. Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since I have posted, however, since I missed officially competiting in the SYTYCD contest at DigiScrapAddicts, I was excited to be able to sign up and be accepted in Digital Scrap Ink’s Next Best Thing Designer contest! I have posted Week 1 and will know tomorrow if I will advance to the next round!

Have you been to DigiScrapAddicts lately?! If not you really should go and visit!!
They are holding an awesome contest right now. All it takes is a little bit of time – and fun time if you ask me! If you can’t see the ad, all you have to do is post your little heart away at DSA between June 1 – and August 31st! The member with the highest post count wins a Western Digital 1TB External HD – thats right 1TB!!!! How fantastic is that!! So run over to DSA and get to posting! I’m finally able to “spill the beans” on where I will be selling!! I am the newest addition to Sunshine Studio Scraps!! I can’t tell you how excited (and a little relieved) I am to be have a new place to call home, and the girls at Sun have been very welcoming!
I don’t have anything new to add to the shoppe yet, however I am finishing up a kit that is inspired by the latest challenge at the SYTYCD contest over at DSA. I’ll have a sneak peek for you in couple days. My shoppe will be open officially tomorrow, so be sure to visit the shoppe, where my store will be set at 25% off for one week to celebrate my new home!

I didn’t get to do anything particularly exciting, but I was able to catch up on cleaning, laundry and even got a few previews and repackaging done for my store…..nope – still not gonna tell you quite yet!! I did manage to fit a good bit of relaxing in too!! Now tomorrow it’s back to work again, ugh, but here is another freebie for ya!

After finishing the SYTYCD challenge this week, I am reminded once again of why I LOVE the contest so much! It pushes you to try harder, be more particular, and more importantly – at least for me, is how this contest pushes me to create something not in my usual style. This week is no exception. The challenge was to create a kit inspired by a Beatles song. I don’t know many songs by the Beatles, but I immediately thought of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I had a million ideas, however when I ended up with the finished result, it was totally opposite of what I original thought, but I like it. It’s simple, yet I think you can have fun with it. I can tell you this is only my second attempt at doodling, but I really had alot of fun creating this little kit and I hope you enjoy it as well!
